• I’ve noticed the timestamp for a comment is a link for some reason… although when clicked on it doesn’t take me anywhere. I tried to hack off what I thought was the links code around the timestamp in the comments template, but it still didnt go away! Any suggestions on how I can make the time not be a link? Thanks.

P.S. If you want to have a looksee at my blog to see what I’m talking about, check out http://www.rilokiley.net/ and view some comments.

It’s a permalink to the comment, in case somebody wants to post a link to their comment on their own blog or maybe discuss someone else’s. Why do you want to get rid of it?

If you edit wp-comments.php you can remove that link.

I just don’t think too many will really know what the links are used for. I don’t want people think I set up links that don’t go anywhere. And yes…. I a’m this anal about EVERYTHING.
Thanks for the top on how to remove the link.
