  • For the effect as in that other link you posted you have to set “shutter” in Other options > Lightbox effects

Hi, thanks for your reply. But the Lightbox effect is already set as “shutter”. Is there something else I should do? Thanks 🙂

Yes, deactivate all other plugins and activate default theme to see if there’s a conflict with one of them or with the theme

It still does the same thing :/
Here’s a screenshot of the advanced settings:

Do I need to change anything there? Thank you! 🙂

I don’t see on your site default theme. If you have already tested in the way mentioned above, and you have cleared the cache and lightbox still doesn’t work, check your settings in nextgen basic thumbnails >Use imagebrowser effect in Gallery settings
It has to be No for lightbox to work

    Yes, I’ve checked.
I think its because we’ve set up the site address to be different to the wordpress address. This problem must have happened since we change the site address, but I only just realized after we updated wordpress…. so I guess there’s not much we can do to fix the problem then :/ Thanks for your time.

Yes, your images are all at http://www.trendskitchens.co.nz/wordpress/wp-content/… and the path in advanced settings is just right where your installation is.
I don’t understand why your URLs are always the same thru the pages, are you using a redirect or what?

Yes we have the links redirected. The gallery works properly when the redirection is removed but we need the redirect function. Thanks.
