Why don't tags display in my blog posts?

I just recently started adding tags to my blog posts and plan to go back and update all old blog posts as well but I notice the tags don’t display. All other website builders like Blogger and others list your tags at the bottom of blog posts. Isn’t this the whole point so the search engines can pick up on them and so you can group similar posts? Why don’t tags show on WordPress or am I missing something in my settings?
