Why doesn't WordPress set better plugin standards? (1 post)

There's so many plugins for WordPress that trying to find a decent one is getting harder all the time.

My main issue with the vast amount of plugins is you have all these amazing - brainy computer programmers who can create amazing things, but they can barely string a few meaningful words together and tell people in plain and simple terms

    What their plugin does,
    How to install it
    How to Use it
And give screenshots of what is actually looks like both on the admin and user sides

It would be nice from my point of view if plugins were checked before being made available on this website to encourage the authors to make their instruction clear and well written out.
