Why does our website redirect's back to wordpress.org??

    Welcome to my nightmare.

    We have a site at http://www.prosperstproductions.com which we had point to our wordpress.com page, but then we wanted to switch to wordpress.org site, so we exported our site from http://prosperstreetproductions.wordpress.com and imported to our web server in the root directory.

    The installation seemed to go alright, but now when we go to our site at http://prosperstproductions.com it forwards us to the wordpress.org main page, instead of OUR OWN wordpress.org site on our server.

    Is it a page on our server that needs to redirect to a wordpress.org page somewhere on our site? Or is it a DNS error? Or a database error?

    We are stumped.
    I have a background in HTML, but this PHP stuff is kinda weird.
    I suspect it’s something fairly simple, but I just can’t figure it out…and after a week of mucking about, it’s just not fun anymore!

    Can anyone help us? PLEASE??

    Your site address is resolving to hosting based off of hostpapa, so that bit at least is probably correct. You should check your hosting control panel to see what settings are on there, (redirects etc.) and check for a .htaccess file in your site root.
