• Hi all,

having built my second WP site, I’m running into a phenomenon my first site does not have. In my first sitem I can simply uload a file to the library, link its URL to a pic or word, like a downoad for example, and that’s it. On the new site, there’s this “attachment” thing going on, and every uploaded file creates an attachment ID with a whole page to be viewed. I don’t quite get the meaning of this, and also I don’t grasp why the media library on my other site does not do that.
    Thanks for any help!

  • Attachment pages are created on demand by default. So if you do not link to these pages but link to “File” or just have no links for images, these pages will never been seen
