why do published posts display in Your Drafts?

  • Is there a setting allowing you to designate that all published posts should NOT display in Your Drafts? I don’t see why you’d want a post to display there after you’ve published it. I sure can see why you’d want it to display there BEFORE you published it, but not after.

Plus, having published posts display in Drafts will eventually make for a huge group of posts displaying in the Write screen.

That’s not normal behaviour for WP. I’ve never had published posts showing in “Your Drafts”.

Thanks for clarifying that. I guess what happened is that somehow I’d created a post & saved it in draft form & then created a diff. version which I published.

I have no idea how that happened & it’s a little distressing. I guess I’ll have to keep my eye on the Your Drafts section to see when those draft posts show up & try to figure out what I’m doing that’s creating duplicate draft & published posts.
