Why do my permalink not get the new page names?

    Hi, I have a little problem here.
    I am using permalinks, that works fine with the hosting company I am using with this website but the problem is:
    permalinks get the names page had when I first created them. For example, if I create a page called “the page”, permalink will be /the-page/, but if I change the page name for “new page”, it will not change.
    Is it normal ? How can I change this?

    How can I change this?

    Select the Edit link immediately under the post/page title in Edit Post or Edit Page. Change the permalink to match your new title, select Save and then update your post or page.
