Why Do My Comment Forms Change for No Reason?

    On my blog, the comment form sometimes includes a space asking for a website, and sometimes it doesn’t. This is on the same pages and posts. Sometimes when I log in the full form is there, sometimes it isn’t.

    Will someone explain why this changes for no apparent reason? I’d like it to always ask for a website.

    If you’re logged in, the Name, Email, and Website fields don’t show up and are autopopulated with your user profile information.

    Typically, themes will display placeholder text that says something like “You’re logged in as [Username].” instead of the normal fields.

    If you’re not logged in, the normal fields should appear.
