    I’m pretty annoyed that I need a plugin to have YouTube embed code on my site right now. What are the consequences to having 100s of old posts with the old style embed code? Do they get screwed? Why did WordPress disable this, when it is so common to just throw in the embed code?

    Most importantly – how can I control the size or position of a video? The shortcode seems to offer zero advantages over any other way of posting, plus, if I ever get rid of the plugin, then again, all most posts are screwed.

    Am I making any sense?
