Hi – I am wondering why all of my pages end with #
I had another site where this did not happen. I am also wondering if this could be slowing down my load time. (Really slow today in particular for some reason) and how to go back to a normal url

    Thanks in advance

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting your custom permalinks back to the default setting. If this works, then review Using_Permalinks before setting a custom permalink structure back up again.

Switched to Twenty Eleven and you are right, it didn’t happen there. Went back to Canvas and switched to default permalinks but that did not fix it. Deactivating plugins didn’t work. Hmmm.. Posted on Woo forum now too but any idea what could be causing this in Canvas theme? Thx!

check your .htaccess file – do you have one?

Some app might have re-written it
