why “comment are closed” on my WP blog ??

    your comment does not work friend. Did you give permissions as 777? That can be a problem.

    Dani,

    that’s a setting for your site.

    Go to Settings -> Discussion

    @bestofblogger, it has nothing to do with file permissions.

    the latest post i find on your blog is – July 18, 2009 , which is about 6+ months old. Go to settings, discussion, there is an option there – “Automatically close comments on articles older than” just uncheck that, i guess that is closing new comments on old posts…

    you can either set a discussion to disable comments by default or individually change the settings for each posts.

    As folks already said, just go to Settings|Discussion.

    If I had to guess, I’d say directorysieve is right about the automatic part.
