Why cant I search newly added products by SKU?

    Why cant I search my newly added products in wordpress woocommerce by SKU? It will search and find them all by title name, but not work when I search by SKU. The weird thing is, it will still search all my old products from months ago by SKU, but none of the new ones i enter.

    any suggestions or easy fix? it must have got corrupted when trying to upgrade to the newest woocommerce when i tried months ago.
