Why Can't I Post To My Facebook Business Page?

    I just switched from Wordpres.com and I was surprised to find that something I did so easily with WordPress.com seems to be impossible on WordPress.org

    I want my posts to automatically post to my facebook BUSINESS page. I do not have a personal page and I know it’s possible to post to a personal page but I’m not interested in that.

    All of the forums I’ve found suggest that what I”m asking isn’t possible. I can’t find any information in my facebook dashboard to help either.

    How can something that was so easy with wordpress.com become impossible now?

    I knew about that but I don’t really want Jetpack because from everything I”ve read about it, it’s not a very flexible plugin in terms of picking and choosing what you want to use. It’s an all or nothing type of thing.

    I have jetpack lite and there is a feature that produces a shortlink which makes it easy to cut and paste a link but I just wanted to avoid the extra step of logging in.

    I think Jetpack might be the best way to do it. I tried your second plugin and I don’t think I can do what I want to do with it (ie. publish to a business page, not a personal one or a group) very easily, it was all very convoluted. I installed it and tried to connect to my FB business page through the settings and there was just no way to do it.

    Facebook isn’t that crucial to me and this plugin seems to be suitable to people who are very active on FB.
