[Resolved] Why can't I add previously uploaded images to portfolios or galleries?

Why can’t I add previously uploaded images to the new portfolios or galleries through the media uploader? I don’t want to insert the old images onto the page editor box, and I don’t want to upload the images all over again. This is not a plug-in or theme-related issue. I’m referring to the newer Portfolio and Galleries admin panels.

    Hello,

The plugins are able to work with attachments which are fastened to the
    specific gallery or portfolio.

If you want to use same images for the several galleries or portfolios, then upload these images once again.

    Best regards,
    Oksana

That is unfortunate. Uploading the same images over and over will take up storage space, crowd the database and perhaps eventually hurt search engine results with so many repeated images. WordPress coders should figure out how to change that.
