Why are section background images loading in css?

    Why are the section background images loading inside an external CSS file? it will be downloaded only after downloading and parsing the CSS file. This reflects in my core web vitals metric (like Largest Contentful Paint (FCP)) when my section’s background images are in the above fold.

    If it was an IMG tag, the image is downloaded instantly when HTML is parsed and not cause this issue. Can we please, please, have a setting to choose to have the IMG load as an IMG not a CSS?

    Looking at your site in your profile, you are an Elementor Pro v3.7.1 user. The developer can’t have a conversation with customers here. That’s not permitted for anyone.

    As the developer is aware, commercial products are not supported in these forums. I am sure they will have no problem supporting you there.
