All Pretty Links are nofollow'd and 307 temporary redirects. Why are they being indexed by Google, and how can I stop this?
I have the same issue on my site.
My pretty links are set to nofollow and 301 redirects. Even if the pretty links are not linked directly on any content (page/post) they are still being indexed on Google.
Blair any idea why this is happening and what can be done about it?
It's not documented anywhere officially, but rumor is that Google, and many other large search engines are no longer obeying the nofollow attribute all of the time. Nofollow was originally (around 2005/6) intended to help fight SPAM links in comments etc, but that intent failed miserably.
If you do an analysis on your links using something like: http://testuri.org/sniffer -- you'll see that the nofollow (X-Robots-Tag) tag is definitely present in your links though.
