Title: whoops… Last modified: August 19, 2016 --- # whoops… * Resolved [Uberche](https://wordpress.org/support/users/uberche/) * (@uberche) * [15 years, 9 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/whoops-1/) * We’ll get this out of the way right at the beginning, I’m an idiot. * Now, I decided I wanted to use WordPress as a CMS for my whole site instead of just the blog section and I thought “Hey! I’ll just move it all into hte base directory and go with that!” (that’s where me being an idiot comes in) Obviously it didnt’ quite work so I took a look in the codex on moving the site and, my second mistake, I change the url informaiton in the Administration-Settings-General and hit save. unfortunately it immediately logged me off and wont allow me to log back in to fix my mistake.
