Whole page not displaying since database update

    Hello there

    I had this lovely plugin working beautifully until I updated it the other day. Now I noticed that nothing on the web page displays… I deactivated the plugin and the rest of the page displays. I did notice the modula id had changed from 1 to 2599 so I updated the webpage. Still not displaying anything though… Any ideas what could help thanks?

    Hello @eviebpat,

    Thank you for reaching out to us!
    Could you please help me by going to this file: ‘wp_config.php‘ and where you have this define('WP_DEBUG', false);
    change to define('WP_DEBUG', true);

    Save and the file and then go to back to this page and let me know if you see any error messages.

    Thanks Mihaela. Here is the error message:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function boolval() in \\BNE3NAS2-CONTENT2\CONTENT2\esvc000114\wp\wp-content\plugins\modula-best-grid-gallery\includes\public\class-modula-shortcode.php on line 149

    The error you see occurs because you are using an older PHP version.

    The latest version I believe is 7.3, if you have a version older than 5.6 you will need to talk to your hosting company and ask them to update to a newer version or at least 5.6, otherwise it will not work.
    This is also recommended in WordPress’ requirements: https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/

    After you update it will work!

    Thanks Mihaela. Yes this has been an issue with my client’s webhost. I will let them know it is urgent now! Thanks again.
