• I understand having to pay extra for access to some settings, but displaying your email address on every page of my website with no option to hide it is crossing the line. Who would want this? It makes the free version worthless and nothing more than a demo.

  • So why not just buy the full version? Peanuts by comparison when gauging your time investment to get these settings to actually work…. Take it from me, between IOS settings for fullscreen, inconsistencies etc etc, this plugin saved me a TON of time and worth the miniscule price point… :/ But hey, if you can develop something better and give away your labor for free, then more power to you…

    By that logic all plugins should be useless just so to force everyone to buy a paid version that isn’t useless. That’s what PAID plugin markets are for.

    Thank goodness not everyone thinks like that otherwise WordPress would not be where it is today.

    Add this CSS to remove the annoying email address:

    .YTPOverlay {
    display: none;
    }

    No charge. You’re welcome.

    @r9000 Are you sure this plugin is useless just because it has the copyright (not an email) displayed? I could understand if the copyright was covering the video but it is placed on the very right part, on the border. The plugin works perfectly as a free version if you need it for your homepage or for any page of your site. And if you need more advanced and customized solutions there’s the paid version. If you don’t like the small copyright watermark you have two choices: buy the PLUS version or use another plugin. Hacking this is not the solution and it is absolutely an unrespectful action.

    @r9000 Just forgot to say that the javascript component that I realized and that underlies this plugin is available for free on GitHub. You can start from that and make your own WordPress plugin for free 🙂
