Who can write a fork for Cystats plugin?

    Cystats was one of the best statistics plugin but it hasn’t been updated since 2008.

    It has some bugs:
    1. The database tables of this plugin don’t support UTF8 characters.
    2. It uses too much of server resources and reduces the server load.

    And some other problems …

    I myself can’t write a fork for this plugin because I don’t have enough knowledge.

    I just can request the WordPress experts to write a fork for this plugin and optimize It for recent versions of WordPress.

    Please help me and thousands of people who use Cystats!

    Why don’t you take a look at

    wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-slimstat/

    You may find out that a “fork” is not needed, when someone else has created an entire set of spoons and knives 😉
