Who can read what entries type plugin?

Could someone please reccmend a couple of plugins for me?

I am switching over from livejournal and I desperately need whatever I can find that is close to livejournal’s friends filters.
I need to be able to set up filters for “Friends” and “strangers” or “Special”. That way I can make posts that ONLY my special friends can see, or only my normal friends can see, or things that I don’t mind who reads it.

I know that this is one plugin option that WP is definitely lacking but any suggestions would be great. I tried to get the Post Levels plugin on the WP Plugin Database but his link is dead now.
