  • Hello everyone,

I have on the website, that I just put over to WordPress form a very old crm system, a ground plan form Park Matilo where this website is about. Into the park there are serveral art works and information signs. For every point into the park where is a art work or a information sign there is a page on the website with more information. I have made form the ground plan a “map” so you can click on a cross, cirkel or triangel on the ground plan to go the page with more information. This works fine, but…

What I want is a mouseover thing that shows a small picture near the point with a text. So you know a litte more where you go to if you click on that small new picture. And on the triangles I want to show a picture with 3 small signs on it but the 3 signs to make it clickable to the 3 different pages the a conneted to the point. So like new “map” into a “map”.

Can someone help me to solve this?

The webite is in Dutch. Maybe later this year we can have also a English version of the website. But I want to solve this thing first.

Thanks for the one who can help me.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • You could do that with ToolTip. Look it up.

There are different kinds of tooltips. The type that uses a title attribute in an anchor tag will not do what you want. You want a CSS tooltip that displays hidden content on hover. It’s very similar to sub menus that appear on hover. What you describe is really a menu that uses images. CSS dropdown submenus can also do what you want.
