  • Sounds like a bad idea. But am I missing something? On the Wordfence options page, under “Other Options” you can whitelist IPs both single and ranges. It’s right there, plain as, day? Or? MTN

MaxCDN is a WP plugin that speeds up the site’s loading time using Content Delivery Network (CDN). As such it needs to distribute the site’s files globally through its distributed network of servers. That is why they need to be whitelisted.

Well, in any case, you can whitelist on the WF options page. For example I do that with Blogvault, a backup service in India, which I otherwise country block.

    I’ll check out MaxCDN.

Check out MaxCDN using GTmetrix speed test. They clearly need their own service!

Hmmm. They have some of the best reviews among their peers. And they’re recommended by W3 Total Cache.

I have reformatted the IP list from MaxCDN to suit Wordfence, according to the information I have. If anyone knows this is incorrect, please let me (and others) know. Otherwise, just copy this list and paste it into the Wordfence|Options|Other Options “Whitelisted IP addresses that bypass all rules:” box.

Culture of nearly everything internet is to over-promise and under-deliver, in my experience….

That’s quite an IP list! Just pray no hackers are using any of those… Pretty scary to use Wordfence then bypass all rules for thousands of IP numbers?
