White space below iFrame
-
The iframe is supposed to auto-resize, what the url in question?
I try to follow this but it didn’t work https://stackoverflow.com/questions/21025319/iframe-creates-extra-space-below
Looks like you have an optimization script called auto optimize that is remove the iframe resize code.
I’ll add this onto my list to look into.
Please do I relay need to use this, and for ref: the script is generated by this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/autoptimize/ so please fix it as soon as possible coz a lot of people are using this plugin.
while waiting for a fix from @seedprod you can also try to re-configure Autoptimize @amanijoseph86;
as a quick test to start with you can disable AO on a per-request basis by adding
?ao_noptimize=1
to the URL.If your site works that way, then disable JS optimization for a second to see if that fixes it. If so, then you’ll probably have to add the plugin’s JS to the comma-separated JS optimization exclusion list. In that process you should keep an eye on your browser’s console for JS errors, as those will help you identify the problem.
AO’s FAQ has more info on troubleshooting and how to exclude.
hope this helps,
frank (ao dev)This does not solve my issue… I try to add the tag at the end my URL but still, I have the white space. I try to disable the js on the plugin but it still shows the white space. I rely upon settings on Autoptimize plugin these settings make our website fast we cannot change it, please find a way to change this or code to make the correction am sure a lot of people are going to have the same problem.
Long story short, We cannot choose between RafflePress and Autoptimize plugin we want them both. RafflePress it’s a first giveaway plugin to work on our REST API so we need this a lot.
I’ll look into it on Monday I’m out of town the rest of this week, what version of the giveaway plugin are you running?
Version 1.0.17. Please consider adding firebase phone number verification to be one of the ways to login or join the giveaway. I think this is easy to add because firebase is free and you can add Google login use it. Check this if you can add it https://firebase.google.com/docs/auth/web/start
@seedprod I think that this is similar to the issue I am experiencing in Webkit browsers. https://tanzaniatech.one/2019/03/reno-kampuni-ya-oppo/ is rendering correctly in Firefox (no extra space below).
His issue is related to auto-optomize plugin and is different.
Yap, I think @andy9219 he’s right… on firefox iframe load correctly.
Strange, ok will look into this. Thanks for the details.
I have found the issue and an update will be out on Monday. Thanks
