  • I am facing the same issue and to get rid of the problem I just deactivated the WordPress.com Stats module in Jetpack.

    Hi!

    You can deactivate the smiley by going into your Dashboard -> Jetpack -> WordPress.com Stats, and then click the configure button. Check “Hide the stats smiley face image.” Note that the smiley is used for browsers which don’t use javascript, so your stats results won’t be complete if you deactivate it. Also, onesoftindiana if you’d like I can help you troubleshoot the whitespace if you’d like; you’ll just need to leave the smiley on so I can take a look.

    Thank you @Amit and @Richard. I have let the smiley on. You may have a look now.

    Hi onesoftindiana, try to modify your site’s CSS from what you currently have:

    img#wpstats {
    	display: block;
    	margin: 0 auto 1.625em;
    }

    to

    img#wpstats {
    position:  absolute;
    bottom: 0;
    }

    I did the same as per RICHARD advised and the problem solved. Thanks ONESOFTINDIANA and RICHARD.

    Thank you Happiness Engineer, Richard. 🙂
