    Dear translatepress-team,

since a few days I get a white screen when changing the language.

    error log shows the following:

[30-Mar-2020 21:30:11 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 20480 bytes) in /homepages/12/d762235061/htdocs/clickandbuilds/healthybusiness365488290/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1995

And that even though I have allocated 264 MB!

I disabled all plugins, no change.
    permalinkstructure is fine, too…

    Can you help, please?

    thanks

    Hello,

Could you please run a conflict test?

*Briefly* disable all other plugins and enable the default Twenty Twenty theme. Please also disable all add-ons. If this fixes the problem, as it probably will, enable everything one by one, checking each time to see when the problem returns.

Please let us know when you find the conflict so that we can take a look and see what we can do about it.

    with the best regards,

As I mentioned above, I already tried disabling all plugins.

And the theme running is the tewnty nineteen theme.

I have the same issue here. It comes from Woocommerce on my site.
Could you fix this problem with an update?

Wordpress support just send me a mail. They say that it comes from a conflict between RankMath Seo and Woocommerce…

Could you please delete the two post from above or move them to another topic?
They are not related to my problem, since it does not seem to be plugin issue.
    Thanks.
    Regards.

    No solution found yet?
    Me neither.
I tried to disable the twenty-nineteen theme and replacing it with twenty-twenty, but that changes nothing.
Disabling all plugins except translate press changes nothing.
    what else can I try?

TranslatePress support reply me that it comes from a server error…
Maybe that’s why many people have this problem at the same time.
Your site is on wordpress.org or .com?
Debug mode and increase memory limits didn’t work for me.
I’ll have to delete in few days this plugin if there is no solution or update.

    Neither on wordpress.org, nor .com

What i noticed, is that the database entry of the problem-causing language is very large.

    “trp_gettext_de_de”

    is over 300 MB.

    Is this normal?

I emptied the above mentioned database table and the language switching is possible again. No white screen.

So somehow the table got faulty.

Some translation are gone of course, but at least, the plugin works again.

    Hello,

    Sorry for the late reply!

Our working schedule is from Monday to Thursday and there’s been a great load on our support team lately.

The issue seems to be a corrupted table in the database.
    Did you use automatic translation?

    With the best regards,

    Hi there

No I don’t use automatic translation.
How can I resolve this corrupted table in the database?
    Will you make an update?
I see your plugin is no more compatible with the new version of WordPress.

    Regards

    Jacques

I do not use automatic translation either.

While working on the website the same database table got corrupted again.

What is this table for (the translations are working even with the empty table)?

    Hello Achim,

It seems that the woocommerce strings are saved into the table multiple times – which could bring up this error.

We will debug this issue further and get back to you with an answer.

    Best regards,

i have same error And I asked the service provider to Increase memory size and it starts working, i tried to increase memory size Myself but it But it didn’t work, Try it
