Whenever I try to test the connection, I get a white screen and it won’t connect.

I’ve triple checked all my database parameters and I’m very sure they are right.
Is there any idea on what the problem might be?

Is there any further info you need for me to send you to diagnose the issue?

Do you get a white screen during testing the connection or during the import?
Did you try to import the Joomla database into the WordPress one as it is told in the FAQ?

I get the white screen during the test connection

I can try importing the Joomla database into the WordPress one if these issues are related.

Do you have PDO and PDO-MySQL installed on your WordPress host?
