    Good day!

Today update to the new version of yoast 7.0 and my site has been broken, it is the admin that was left with the white screen of death, the site is still intact.

    Regards!

  • here too.

    Hi @langel,

Can you try deleting the plugin folder and reinstall Yoast SEO? This might be PHP cache. Your settings won’t be erased if you delete the Yoast SEO folder.

Let me know if that works for you.

    Hi @benvaassen,

I’ve made an attempt to both install the old version of yoast, and the new one by completely removing the current installation of yoast, however it makes no difference. I am also getting no PHP error messages in my error log and am therefor unable to fix this issue at all.

    Any further ideas?

It seems that yoast had disabled itself, I manually added it to the serialized option “active_plugins” and now the site is working with no issues.

Glad you resolved it! Thanks for letting me know 🙂
Now let’s wait on the topic starter to reply as well.

    I fixed it.
First. Thanks for any words to help.

Second. After many hours. I deactivate all plugins via FTP and reinstalled only Yoast 7.0.1 and the web site come back to live.

After that, i activate one by one plugin and now, only the sitemap doesn’t work. 🙁

But Yoast still living in my heart.

    Hi @thlenzi,

Can you give us more details on what’s wrong with the sitemap? You can also find a list of the most common issues with the XML Sitemaps and how to fix them here.

I’ve tried with base theme, without any other plugin. Only Yoast. The problem (HTTP 500) still and my error file don’t show any problem.
What do you recommend to do?

@thlenzi As the sitemap not working is a different issue, please open a new topic. That way it’s easier to track emerging issues and provide assistance.

In the new topic, please let us know what you’ve tried that hasn’t worked and provide us with the sitemap URL so we can further investigate the issue. Thanks!

    Hello,

Could you please try to perform a conflict check? Please make sure you use a default WP theme like Twentyseventeen. Can you try and gather as much information for us as possible? Please perform the following:

    1. Make sure the issue doesn’t persist when Yoast SEO is disabled.
    2. Check for conflicts.
    3. Check for JavaScript errors with your console.

If you find any JavaScript errors related to Yoast SEO or if there is a conflict with a plugin or a theme, you can create a new GitHub issue for our developers. Please report the issue to a third party developer as well.

If you didn’t find any conflicts or errors, we think the issue is specific to your site. We’d need to investigate further but are unable to do so on these forums. You can purchase Yoast SEO Premium and receive our Premium email support and we can help you further.

    Hi @langel-1,
Support answered your question here, I’m just not sure if you received it as I received your response because my username is langel without the -1.
Hope you can resolve your problem
    Linda
