White Screen of Death on php 5.3 upgrade

    Good Afternoon,

    I tried to upgrade my php version from 5.1.* to 5.3 to bring it up to date, but after the upgrade I could not access any part of the WP site.

    I downgraded again and everything works.

    I remember having this issue some time ago, and i have it in my mind that there is some adjustments you can make to the htaccess files to fix it (although I could be wrong).

    Any assistance would be greatly appreciated
