After searching through WP forums, it seems I’m experiencing the WSOD. When trying to access the site or admin page (site.com/wp-admin) only a white screen appears.
It happened shortly after installing and activating a new theme (BlackBird) on my site (www.christianmoreno.com). That said, I am relatively inexperienced when it comes to the actual back end set up and configuring of .php files. For example, I see a proposed fix for the WSOD is to “take a look at your functions.php file and make sure the are NO spaces at the top or bottom.” Could someone please explain how to solve this in laymen’s terms?
My friend handled setting up the WP to a server via FTP, etc. Would I need to access this server? Thanks in advance!
