white screen of death by ideal ING v3

Dear pronamic,

This week I was finished testing the pronamic ideal plugin for v3 ING advanced. I use the non sepa version now and it is working fine. All tests for v3 where ok, but when I changed the current configuration to the new v3 configuration, I got the white screen of death.
I changed back to the normal configuration by changing it in the DB and everything worked again. Second time it worked!! and I did a payment on the new v3 version.
Next day the screen of death appeared again without any changes being done??. In debug mode I got the following error:

Fatal error: Class ‘XMLSecurityDSig’ not found in ..\wp-content\plugins\pronamic-ideal\classes\Pronamic\Gateways\IDealAdvancedV3\Client.php on line 291

Any idea what causes this?

Do you have PHP 5.3 or higher? For iDEAL v3 is PHP 5.3+ required.

Yes, my provider is running PHP Version 5.3.10.

Ok, this is not an known issue. The ‘XMLSecurityDSig’ class is defined in the following file:

https://github.com/pronamic/wp-pronamic-ideal/blob/1.2.6/includes/xmlseclibs/xmlseclibs.php#L631

This file is included in the following file:

https://github.com/pronamic/wp-pronamic-ideal/blob/1.2.6/classes/Pronamic/WordPress/IDeal/Plugin.php#L119

Maybe you can check if these files are in place…

The files are in place. The init function in Plugin.php is in line 110 in stead of line 119. that’s the only difference. The weird thing is that the first time I activated the v3 configuration, wordpress crashed. Changed it back, wordpress worked again, then changed it to v3 again… wordpress worked!!, then did a testpayment with a temporarily product. The ideal payment went ok. Next day the site was white with the above mentioned error?? My provider uses windows OS and IIS, maybe related? By the way, I use pronamic ideal version 1.2.4.

Ok, it could have something to do with the hosting setup. We don’t have an hosting setup with IIS. If we could get (FTP) access to your website we’d love to debug the issue and fix the issue for you. You can mail us ons info@pronamic.nl.

Short update for the benefit of all readers: For now we can’t reproduce the problemen on the website of @marnixdalebout. It maybe had something to do with the hosting setup. We’ll mark the topic for now as resolved.
