White Screen of Death After WP 4.6.1 Upgrade

    Upgraded to WP 4.6.1 and got the white screen of death. Renamed the Plugins folder to Plugins_old and then started manually adding them back in activating to discover that it was Toolset Types causing the issue.

    When I copy the plugin back it says that Version 2.2.1 is available, whether I Activate 2.1 or update to 2.2.1 and then activate it still results in the white screen of death.

    I removed the plugin and then downloaded a fresh install from the website and that works but I have lost all formatting so the large section of my website that uses the functionality is broken.

    How can I get the plugin working again AND have everything working as it was prior to upgrading to WP 4.6.1?

    Updating, or even replacing in FTP, will not remove any settings or formatting (not sure what you refer to here) as everything is in the database.
