Support » Plugin: WP Job Manager » White Screen in Job Manager

I’m diagnosing a problem for a client who is getting a WSOD in WP_Job_Manager_Form_Submit_Job::get_job_id, next_step and several other functions. The cause appears to be that WP Job Manager Paid Listings is calling these as static functions instead of as instance methods, so $this is null.

I’ve tried patching some of the code and was able to get past the immediate problem, but there are lots more. I don’t have access to the client’s account, so I’m filing this here. when I get access to the account I’ll file a more detailed report.

This is not the right place for addons. Please use wpjobmanager.com/support/ via your clients account. Note; this is probably version related so I’d recommend checking for new versions prior to wasting time debugging:

    The versions are
    WP Job Manager: 1.23.4
    WooCommerce Paid Listings: 2.4.0

As I said in my initial post, I’m quite aware this is not where I should post problem reports for add-ons. However it was late Friday afternoon, and the client won’t be available until Monday. And the WSOD is in WP Job Manager.

Is there a way I can find the current version of the add-on so I can get the client to update it?

You would need to login and download from wpjobmanager.com/my-account/ to get the paid listings update, if you’ve confirmed its that.

It’s not that I don’t want to assist, but it’s against this forums rules to support paid addons here. A mod will probably close this thread down soon.

Please, just tell me what the current version numbers are. With that I can probably motivate this client.

    Thanks Mike,

I will let the client know, and get them to do the update.

    I’m marking this topic resolved.

The client updated his account and I updated the add-ons. The system is now working properly.
