White screen few seconds

    Hi,

    When I activate the plugin and select any of the 4 ‘Container code’ options it gives me a white screen for a few seconds when I load any page on the website. You can see it here: https://www.landre.nl/

    First it shows the page for 0.5 seconds and after that it turns white for a few seconds before returning to normal again.

    How do I fix this?

    Hi,

    You seem to have activated the Google Optimize integration.
    It includes an anti flicker snippet that should keep the site in a white mode until the Optimize container loads. Since it does not load for some reason, the maximum wait time is used.

    You can decrease this time in ms under Integration->Google Optimize

    Hi Thomas,

    Thank you for the quick response! I have tried decreasing the time with almost everything but it is still happening. Also I don’t think Google Optimize is turned on because there is no container ID filled in.

    If you keep every plugin option as it is and just replace the GTM container ID with GTM-XXXXX – does this solve the issue?

    Hi @duracelltomi ,

    The issue is solved. It had something to do with the Google script being loaded in from another website with a 4 second delay.
