    Hi,

I’m using Elementor for about one months without any problem. But since this morning I can’t edit a page with elementor. It opens a white page and stops loading. I have tried all the solutions I’ve found on the net but none of them worked. I was suspicious about plugin conflict because yesterday there was an update but disabling all plugins didn’t solve it too. I’m using the Phlox theme. Please, if anyone can help, I will be very grateful.

I switched to 2 different themes, twenty seventeen and Oceanwp. Didn’t work (I started to hate saying this word :))

Thanks for your review on my site. Now, I created a new addon domain and installed a fresh WordPress on it. Now, I will transfer everything to there. Also I will try OceanWp as my theme now as you suggest.

Yes, I can image you start hating that word haha…

Great, let me know if Elementor does load on that fresh install please ( before you start rebuilding and just OceanWp and Elementor active to rule things out )
If Elementor loads here, that kind a tells something must be off/corupted in the original.

Unbelievable, I solved the issue. It seems like the problem is CHROME. When I try to edit the pages in Opera it worked. I will never user Chrome again to work on WordPress. Damn you ./

Oh really? That is good news!!

I do not have issues to edit in Chrome, although I usually edit in Firefox.
Maybe some addon you have in Chrome?

Anyway, glad you do not have to start all over again!

Well, after some time I figured it that Chrome wasn’t the problem. I was able to edit pages because Opera has a VPN built-in. When I close the VPN, I can’t edit the pages again. It is really absurd. Why can’t I edit pages using Elementor without enabling VPN?

Anyway, I don’t care. I’m very happy to be able to edit pages again. I don’t need to start again.

    Hi,

That must be some setting on your local machine I suppose, because I run 50+ sites and shops with Elementor and can edit them all just fine without VPN in chrome and Firefox.

As the Opera VPN protects your privacy, it probably does not save cookies.
However, my chrome and firefox are set to save cookies and I do not have this problem.

It could be interesting to see if, when you use a different pc, you can edit just fine without VPN. But indeed this is great news, you do not have to start all over again!

    Please, create backups haha!
