• From this date of 12/19/13 my site has been exiled to the white screen dimension for exactly 7 days now.

I was speaking to godaddy about forwarding other domains to one. All of a sudden after forwarding then waiting for the update I’ve had white screen.

my site was originally xatraining.com which was the domain that was put in the WP admin side. Then I chose to use exerciseathlete.com which is my sites primary name. So I forwarded xatraining.com to exerciseathlete.com
    usher in white screen.

Godaddy said it’s not on their side, more so on WP side. Yet I do not even have access to my WP admin any longer as it TOO is WHITE SCREENED.

I’m no WP advanced user nor expert, yet I can navigate and do basics since I am computer literate, yet when it comes to all the acronyms and coding, etc. That IS NOT my skill set.

I’ve read other issues about this, and they all seem unique yet with the common denominator WHITE SCREEN.

I would like the connect-the-dots-approach when it comes to help with this, meaning tell me where to go, what to type, for troubleshooting during each step, because again I do not have coding experience, nor do I know what most of these back door acronyms mean or even do.

    Help!

    p.s.

I alone assume I’m using the latest WP version since my site was only established 3 weeks ago. But I don’t know.

  • I see a GoDaddy “coming soon” page on both of those domain names.

Thank you for your response. Yes these coming soon pages only appeared an hour ago after I went in and unforwarded all my domains back to stand alone.

So basically now, my site XAtraining.com is unforwarded yet built out and it shows a coming soon page now.

However when I log into my cpanel on godaddy I actually see (under XAtraining) my home page in a small window, yet again no page.

So I attempted to create a new WP account, so I can have access to the log in screen again, I put my original password and username in for the one belonging to the built site and it gives me the shaky screen that says no username or password exists.

    Please advise is possible

I think you really need to go back to GD about this – as we have no way to know how all this domain forwarding and changing around is set up.

Unfortunately I’ve spent the last 7 days on the phone with them through various levels, and the one thing they keep telling me is that it’s on WP side not there’s.

Every rep said the same thing, so I’m spinning. How do I log in to my admin panel? Or why did it go away at all to white screen as well?

    Anything?

I would like to log in to that account to see if maybe ip address matches or the domain name got changed. Something.

I could easily have my developer reload my site to a new WP account, yet one thing I’ve noticed is that I will have to purchase a feature (if you will) that allows me you to use my already owned primary domain name to point to my new account.

With my original WP account where the site is/was built, I simply routed my domain name to that account without purchasing anything from WP. Is this still the case or am I missing something?

I don’t see any WP installations or white screens – they are both GoDaddy pages. Has GD actually looked at what shows up on those URL’s?

In your file manager, where is WP installed? In a sub-directory perhaps?

WordPress.ORG does not charge for anything nor have anything to do with domain names – perhaps you’re looking at something related to WordPress.COM?
