# White Screen after installing new plugin

 * Hello,
 * I have just upgraded to WordPress 3.4.1. Now every time I try to add a new plugin
   and hit “activate plugin” it does its thing and then comes back to a blank screen.
   I cant get anywhere in the admin section. The front end of the site still works.
   If I FTP into my site and delete the plugin it fixes it. I have tried 5 different
   plugins and it does the same thing on all.
 * Very frustrating. Any thoughts?

 * I see that your theme came loaded with it’s own copy of JQuery. I would try switching
   to the 2011 theme and then adding a plugin. If it works, then I think your theme
   may be to blame. I’m only guessing that the JQuery it’s using is old and thus
   causing the issue, but I’m not 100% sure.
