White page of death with conflicting jQuery updater plugin

I’ve just upgraded NextGEN to the newest version and suddenly my website turned into a white page of death.
When disabling the plugin jQuery Updater, things went back to normal.

I don’t know any more why I needed this other plugin, but if anyone has the same problem it is worth looking out for this :-).
