You appear to be missing some WordPress core files. Try re-uploading all files & folders – except the root wp-config.php & .htaccess files and the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folders before uploading the new ones.

So should i make the copy of my blog and then reinstall wordpress on my site by deleting the earlier copy ? and later copy the whole blog except the folders and file you mentioned ?

That should not be necessary. Your site’s content is all stored in your database – with the exception of uploaded media files stored in the wp-content folder. So as long as you avoid that folder, you will be fine. All you are doing is uploading a fresh set of WordPress core files.

Hi, your above suggestion solved the issue. My blog is back online. But I still have one issue left.

I cannot login to my wordpress site using any app, whether on IOS or android or 3rd party. It says forbidden access. However when i login from browser directly to my blog, it is working fine.

Have you installed WordPress app on your mobile?

To install the Android WordPress app, follow these steps:

    1) Open up the Google Play Store.
    2) Search for “wordpress” (no quotes)
    3) Tap Install.
    4) Tap Accept & download.
