    Hello everyone,

    I'm building and modifying my very first WordPress website. I'm using the Golden Eagle Lite theme, and I changed the background to black color. The problem is, there are white borders around the feature images that I can't remove it. I check the style.css, "contain" part but still can't find out how to remove the border. Do you guys have any ideas how to remove it?

    My site is http://www.critical-missions.com. Please take a look and tell me how to figure it!!!

    Thanks a lot :D

    That background is being set in the inline CSS in this code (repeated for each image):

    <div class="item_image1" style="top: 0px; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">

    @WPyogi: Thanks for your reply. I can't find this kind of code in my style.css. Is there any other way to remove it?

    @portlandgrind - huh? It's not your thread - is your site identical to the OP?

    If you need help, it's better to start a new thread and include a link to your site in your post.

    <div class="item_image1" style="top: 0px; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">

    This cannot be found in the editor.css or the style.css .

    In safari inspector, if I change the background to #ffffcc like I want to have, it works immediately, but I cannot find where to change the background color in the editor.

    i will start a new thread.. i just figured it was redundant considering we are both using the same theme and having the same problem.
