    Hi @wenlu

Good day to you and hope you are doing great.

The white background behind the share button is the navigate to top button within your website. Can you please increase the share button px from bottom to move the share button a bit more upper position. For that, go to Super Web Share > Floating > Position from Bottom increase the value to 10px. The issue will mostly get resolved and the navigate to top button will also be visible on this case.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Kind regards

I increased the value to 10px as you said(https://prnt.sc/wjpi3q). I also clear the website cache and browser cache to make sure the new changes is applied. But the problem is still exists.

A new version is released to change the floating button’s position from right to left and change the position of the button. Can you please update and let us know whether it helped or not?

I had updated to the new version but it did not solved the background problem (https://prnt.sc/10mrn8r). Also, I can see it on my desktop. Is it normal? Can I make it only available on mobile or tablet device?

As for the background issue which you have mentioned within the screenshot, you need to increase the position of the button, from bottom to about 60px.

We do provided an option to easily set this, from the WordPress dashboard, just go to Super Web Share > Floating > within the Position from Bottom set the value to 60 and click Save Settings.

Please let us know the result once after updating it to 60px.

Also, I can see it on my desktop. Is it normal? Can I make it only available on mobile or tablet device?

Yes, its an expected behavior. The button is showing on the Desktop as the API is supported on the desktop browser which you are using. If the browser won’t support the API the button won’t be shown. Right now, we added the feature to help everyone to easily prompt the native share on the API supported devices. We will surely consider your feature request.

Yes, the button is showing on the desktop but there is no responding when I click the button. Therefore, I hope there is a button that can select which devices to show the share button.

    Hi @wenlu

It is good to hear that increasing the button’s bottom position helped resolve the issue you have faced.

Regarding the Button on the desktop, can you please try to click on the Share Icon and confirm whether any window is showing up or not?

(Please don’t click on the word Share, just on the icon would be great to confirm this issue)

Yes, I can see a window is showing up when I clicked on the icon but there is nothing to show when I clicked on the word. Is it normal?

    Hi @wenlu

Good to hear that it’s working when clicking on the icon. Sorry to let you know that the prompt not working while clicking on the word is a bug from our end and would be fixed in the next release.

    Thanks a lot!
