While Creating A Post, Being Able to Search Categories

I am creating about 300 posts of transactions. My Category list is more than 150 items long. Every time I make a post, I have to scroll all over the place, something that takes time and is prone to errors. I am wondering if there is something that, that while doing a post, would create a search box for categories similar to those, like for fonts, where you start entering letters and it automatically reduces the number of selections based on that.

Let’s say that I created a Category named “Idiot”. Currently, when doing a new post, I will have to scroll down that list until I found what I wanted. I would like to be able to enter an “i”, getting all Categories beginning with “i”, then enter “d”, getting all Categories beginning with “id”, etc. etc., until the word idiot is displayed for selecting.
