    Hi,

I would like to insert php code/ html code into the top or bottom of an entry of a post or page or custom post type.

Eg insert php code after the post title, or before content, or after content.

Similar to eg how a Sharing plugin may have an option to show sharing icons at the top or bottom of the content of a post.

    I have looked at:

    https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/hooks/

which lists 81 pages of various hooks.

I have not been able to find the hooks I am looking for. (Probably on page 67 when I went only up to page 66) lol

    Any help is mucho appreciated……

    Howdy!

That may also depend on the theme or even a plugin that is being used. One plugin I’ve sort of used is https://wordpress.org/plugins/show-hooks/ to get an idea of where those may be.

Hope that leads you in the right path

    Hi Jose (@jcastaneda),

Thanks very much for suggesting that plugin!

I tried it right away and it clearly shows me the hooks available to do what I want.

    Very helpful!

    Cheers and stay safe!
