 * Hello
 * Absolutely new to WP. Seasoned graphic & web designer. I am trying to figure
   out which visual builder to start with.
 * My main question is, which ones can edit & modify ready-made WP website templates
   regardless of what WP tools the website templates are made with …
 * I have managed to somehow shortlist the following visual builders (and it wasn’t
   easy) but at this point (maybe i am wrong) the factor that weighs the most is
   the ability to use the visual builder as a visual editor (customizer) on almost
   any WP website template i purchase as the best for a given occasion no matter
   how it has been build and that i don’t have to be limited on templates only made
   with the specific visual builder.
 * 1. Elementor
    2. Divi 3. Visual Composer 4. Nicepage (?)
 * From what i gather so far, and if i got it right, Elementor works as editor only
   with WP website templates made with Elementor . Divi claims it can edit any WP
   website template.
 * Thanks
    Nick

 * My main question is how are you defining “WP website template”?
    Being new to
   WP, you might not know that WP core does not output anything to the front end,
   with the exception of the more recent block editor styles (unless the theme turns
   those off). The theme is responsible for generating each page. Plugins can affect
   that a little or take it over entirely, by using core filters.
 * So the real question is How much work do you want to put into each page? You
   can let the theme do the work it is designed for, keeping all pages looking consistent.
   Or you can build each page yourself and have to struggle to get them all matching.
 * The editor in WordPress lets you manage the content part of the page visually.
   You don’t need a plugin to do that.
