Which “target” is the mainsite?

    I wonder if it’s possible (guess it is, but I wonder how) to make a link to an external site in the sidebar, and get the site up in the “mainwindow” (were the post usually appears). Does the mainwindow have a spesific “target”, or can I solve the problem in any other way?

    There is no “mianwindow” – no frames in WP. Where your posts appear that’s usually the index.php file of your theme.
    If I understood your question correctly, you cannot do anything like that in WP.
