Are you willing to pay for a premium theme that includes support or just after a free one?

@premiumwp. Thanks for the reply; would consider paying as long as not too expensive to start with. We had thought it was better to go with free one at first but although think the free wp Minimatica and Portfolio Press look could they do not seem straightforward to use.
I notice some premium wp themes you have to pay every month. I would prefer to look at sites that you pay an annual or one-off fee that includes all support, one to one preferably not just a forum. Sometimes I find you get no responses in forums, which slows things up ( except of course you have).
Some really simple nice themes over here. And not too expensive!

@laurenserge Thanks but going for wordpress.org ones, specifically
If you don’t mind paying for a theme, there are some really nice, reasonably priced portfolio WordPress themes here.

@premiumwp Had a look at premium thems;great choice; heard Thesis really powerful for seo etc; but also like look of Richwp themes, Woo Themes- don’t know if they include seo and how good?
Need something that includes options for displaying portfolios too
Just want to be careful. Read where a few people were unhappy with Headway; some praising WOO and many keen on Thesis. Any take on whether Thesis would be alright for an artist portfolio, niche, monetized site.
I am reluctant to purchase until I have researched them well enough.
