It’s hard to say without knowing exactly what you lost, but if you reinstall the same plugins and reactivate them, then you should be able to retrieve your lost info.
I would first try to get the plugins back to what they were before you made the mistake, then see if your site behaves as it should.
give that a try and let me know if it helps!
Can you post a link?
Do you have the virtue toolkit plugin installed?

sadly I didn’t keep a list, not happy with self.
So can’t do as you suggest
Kadence
I do have the virtue toolkit installed
What I see is that you have something causing tooltips to not work. Have you tried clearing your w3 total cache?

I don’t have a w3 total cache, could that be the problem?
I do have a wp super cache, how do I clear it?
Much thanks
You can clear it by going into Settings> WP Super Cache> and clicking the “Delete Cache” button.
Kevin
Did that, sadly it didn’t fix the problem 🙁
Also isn’t showing my fb page link on sidebar 🙁 Despite the fact it shows in my jetpack facebook plugin that it should
AussieErin,
Make sure your widgets are enabled and set up properly from Appearance > Widgets. Or have you already done this?

Thanks for you help, I have done that and it’s still not working, most frustrating
Erin
Sorry, because I don’t know which plugins/widgets you were previously using it’s really difficult to know how to guide you.
As far as the facebook widget via jetpack goes, this would be something you need to enable with the plugin settings itself. Was it just facebook share you’re going for? A plugin like this should work- https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-social-sharing/
Hannah
Ok so whatever plugin that you are using that is minifying your css start by turning that off.
Your getting this error on your site:
WPGroHo is not defined
And thats a JS error which would account for the tooltips and the facebook. It’s always really best to deactivate your plguins one at a time till you find the one with the issue.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
That was the problem, turned off my autoptimize and immediately corrected the problem.
I haven’t posted on my blog for days because it was bothering me so much.
Is the problem likely to occur if I turn it back on?
should I try a different plugin?
I’ve been trying to fasten my load time, it’s way too slow
Once again thank you!! 🙂
You could also try to configure Autoptimize to fix that problem. “WPGroHo is not defined” can be fixed by excluding jetpack/modules/wpgroho.js
from autoptimization (or by ticking the “also aggregate inline JS” option).
There’s more general info about troubleshooting in AO’s FAQ.
hope this helps,
