• I want to embed a video which I have uploaded into my database itself – ie. hosted myself, not by YouTube or other video host.

Which plugin is best to do this?

I have looked through the list of video embed plugins and all the descriptions talk about YouTube and others but none mention a locally hosted video.

I have just moved over from WordPress.com and over there I had the Videopress upgrade where I was able to upload some videos directly into my media gallery. Then it was just a click of a button to embed them. But here I can’t find the same button. And the posts which had the WordPress videos embedded now just show a bit of code where the video should be, eg. [wpvideo xAcieVLB]

Very grateful if anyone could advise

    Thank you

Just wondering if anyone saw this question?
    Please can anyone help?

This would depend I guess on the format of your video.

I use on one site Blubrry PowerPress. This plugin is specifically for sharing video as a podcast but if you don’t want to do that you simply do not enter the infor for it. Check their website -> http://www.blubrry.com/powerpress/

Video format (check the details) I use are mp4
