Support » Requests and Feedback » Which forum to discuss this forum?

The front-page is ambigous about whether this Requests and Feedback forum is for this site or for the WP software itself. Discussion of Everything Else seems to encompass this site while excluding requests and feedback for the platform.

Please make the front page more clear so that we know where to post these two different kinds of topics.

I’d say either of those two would be fine, we don’t really have a specific forum for this specific forum.

Well, I’ll make it my personal policy to post WP-specific requests and feedback there, and site-specific stuff here. Maybe Everyone will follow! 🙂 Thanks!

I ran into this today too. I was looking to post a suggestion for the support forums here but it’s very unclear where to go to.

The 3 areas of need I see are:

    – post a topic relating to core WordPress software
    – post a topic about specifically (i.e. meta)
    – post a topic about a theme or a plugin

There may be more than these 3 but of these 3, only the last one is relatively easy to figure out where/how to start a topic here.

Also, finding info on how to best “use” these forums is also hard to find. For example, are there other tinymce options I can use other than what is shown in the editor bar? I seem to remember back in the day there used to be a little red text just below the comment form giving you more information on how to use and format additional options but has since been removed.
